This 2.5 hour workshop will cover everything that happens to your postpartum body from the moment your baby is born until a few days after birth. Whether you plan to have your baby at home, in a birth center, or at the hospital, this class is universally relevant. Major topics include packing your bags, golden hour, postpartum bleeding, managing pain, what emergent situations can look like, breast care, managing sleep deprivation, and so much more. By the end of this class you'll have all the tools you need to plan for the fourth trimester you deserve, no matter what your birth looks like.

  • End of your second or early-mid third trimester is the perfect time! Not too early, but at a time when delivery is starting to feel real. 2.5 hours of content can be done in one night in theory, but we encourage you to break it up so the information settles in!

  • YES, absolutely! Just as every pregnancy is different, so is every postpartum. Prior postpartum periods can fade with time, keeping the information fresh will help you into your beautiful mom of many transition.

  • Sure, we love active and engaged partners/support people! We ask that you limit the course to viewing on one screen so you hear the information together and discuss a little after each section.

  • Unfortunately, no. We are chatting with you as nurses and moms, but not as YOUR nurse. Please continue to be in touch with your chosen pregnancy, postpartum and newborn care provider as usual. A course with us does not replace medical advice.
