5 Do’s & Don’t’s of visiting a postpartum mama

1- DON’T immediately ask to hold the baby

DO ask about her, not just about the baby

2- DON’T offer unsolicited advice

DO bring a meal, coffee, wipes, anything.

3- DON’T freak out if the baby cries

DO clean something or help with something on her to-do list

4- DON’T expect to be entertained or fed.

DO let her sleep or play with her kids.

5- DON’T overstay your welcome.
